The Damaris diffusion range, Mimi Holliday continues to imitate the mainline lingerie label, producing fabulous designs in luxurious natural fabrics at a fraction of the price.
Now in its fifth season, Mimi regularly reaches a 90% sell through - beating many of its high street and boutique contenders.
A large part of the label’s success is not only down to the image – Damaris is worn by A-Listers such as Angelina Jolie, Liv Tyler and Christina Aquillera - but also the quality. All Mimi bras are cut to form the perfect Bardot-esque Balcony décolleté and the knickers follow mainline styles, many featuring a take on the trademark bottom cleavage.
The fabulous designs priced between £25 for the knickers and £39 for the bras are beautifully wrapped in tissue and packaged in baby pink boxes for each customer.
The Spring/Summer 06 collection is made up of five stories in either 100% silk satin or French silk chiffon:
Dusty Blue Aqua
Barely there silk satin skims the skin, in a sophisticated shade of muted aqua. Includes; a balcony bra, side-tie knickers in the same satin but with an aqua, sheer chiffon panel at the back and a matching side-tie thong. All pieces have a green bow and rose retail detail in the middle.
Dusty Pink
The same styles as the above story, all in luxurious silk satin and chiffon, but in a sultry shade of dusty pink. All pieces have an orange bow and yellow rose detail in middle.
Feather Print
Lemon yellow silk chiffon is covered with a print of delicate fuchsia feathers. The story has a gathered cup Balcony bra, sweet hipster knickers and a thong, which has an ingenious ribbon loop tying in the bottom cleavage with a cute yellow satin ribbon.
Lemon Yellow Lace
Summer hots up in a citrus silk satin balcony bra, with a lemon lace overlay on the cups. The matching thong has a satin front with lace sides forming the T-shaped at the back. Knickers are the same but with a lace bottom panel and sides. All are finished with an orange ribbon and fuchsia rose detail.
Emerald lace
The same story as above but, in eye-catching emerald. All pieces are finished with a yellow satin ribbon and dusty rose detail.
